Dangerous Premises

Dangerous conditions can exist in the workplace that can cause catastrophic injury or death. These conditions often occur while doing everyday acts such as grocery shopping.

When facilities, businesses and structures fall into disrepair, dangerous conditions exist. Falls, electrocutions, drownings, and amputations often occur due to facilities, businesses, and structures falling into disrepair. The entity in control of the property has a legal duty to inspect for problems and either make them safe or warn you of the issues. 

Many times, no inspections, repairs, or warnings take place and people get badly hurt, maimed, or killed. Elevators, power lines, swimming pools, explosions, falling merchandise, open pits, slick grocery store floors, assembly lines, balconies, stairways, and railings are just a few of the type of everyday things, that we come into contact with, that can kill or severely injure, should a problem exist that is unknown to the user.
